Ipe (Handroanthus spp.) is one of the most commercially marketed woods in the world, particularly for outdoor decking. It is extremely dense and durable for outdoor use. If finished with a clear coat it tends to look reddish-brown, but some pieces may be lighter and have an olive tone. Slab measures 1-1/4″ x 16″ x 48″ and has been surfaced both sides.
