Iwasaki files are renowned for their durability and cutting ability. The teeth are sharp and designed to be self-cleaning but clean easily with any stiff bristle brush. This file is 9-1/2″ long with a 7″-long half-round cutting surface that tapers from 7/8″ to 1/8″ and cuts on the push stroke. The teeth are very sharp and require only the lightest touch to work. Like all Iwasaki files, this file produces tiny shavings, leaving a very smooth surface that requires little sanding when done.
